Places with Feelings: Black Beach, 2022
This felt like walking into Pleasantville. Misty days in Iceland make this entire beach appear monochromatic. There was no colour to be seen anywhere I looked, except for the yellow raincoat being worn by my daughter. Colours are one of those things you aren't hyper aware of, until they are gone. Black lava sands, birds, and haunting rock formations out in the horizon. This place removes you from yourself.

Framing
Please reach out with any framing questions you may have. My favourite way to display these is under art glass, with a thin black frame.
